DONALD EUGENE Age 81, Albuquerque since 1963, passed on to a better life on February 13th, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Corinne of the family home; children, Michael Wagner, and wife Christy of Monrovia, CA, Jeffrey Wagner and wife, Ruth of Alpharetta, GA, Tim Wagner and wife Sandi, of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Michael Jr. and wife, Shelley of Marysville, WA, Jamie Wagner of Tacoma, WA , Alexandra Wagner of Monrovia, CA, Zachary Wagner of Saco, ME, Cynthia Wagner of Alpharetta, GA, and Aiden Wagner of Albuquerque; two sisters, Rose Lucke and husband, Wayne of Palmyra, MO, Reba Hoehne and husband, Darrell Hoehne of Palmyra, MO; also many nieces and nephews and friends. Mr. Wagner was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Crook, father, Edward Wagner, brother Luther Wagner. He was a Korean War Vet serving aboard the USS New Jersey and also was a life member of the American Legion and the Elks. He was a member of Sombra Del Monte Christian Church, serving as Elder, Deacon, and was the Sound Technician for SDMCC. He was an avid bowler and won many honors and was inducted into the Central New Mexico Bowling Hall of Fame in 2010. He attended schools in Missouri and Electronic School in the U.S. Navy. Viewing will be at French Mortuary at 10500 Lomas Blvd NE 87111 on Thursday, Feb. 23rd, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. There will be a private burial in Santa Fe at the National Cemetery. A Memorial Service at Sombra Del Monte Christian Church at 2525 Vermont St. NE with Rev. Litton Logan officiating on Sat. the 25th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception following. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donald MacKenzie, Frank Krek, Bob Bailey, Don Sauer, Fred Shoemaker, Kent Maxwell, Floyd Braaten, Jim Trotter, Stan Silva, Tom Mueller, Steve Coleman and Leon Parrish. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sombra Del Monte Christian Church, 2525 Vermont St. NE, Albuquerque NM 87110 or the charity of their choice.
