Obituary for LEWIS

TIM Age 58, a resident of Albuquerque since 1983, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. He is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Cindy Lewis; his brother, Mark P. Lewis of Chicago, IL; his brother-in-law, Marty H. Lange and wife, Tina of Sarasota, FL; his sister-in-law, Trudy S. Randour and husband, Charlie of Albuquerque, NM; two nephews; four nieces; two godchildren; and his English Springer Spaniel, Rio. Tim was an accomplished skier who coached professionally at Sandia Peak Ski Area for more than 25 years, teaching kids how to ski safely and in control. He was a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America - Rocky Mountain division for over 30 years and received numerous awards and trophies for skiing. In addition to his favorite sport, Tim also enjoyed attending UNM Lobo and Chicago White Sox games, and fishing, playing hockey and golfing with friends. He was passionate about music, especially jazz, rhythm and blues. Tim worked as a quality systems professional, serving most recently with S.A.I.C. and Team Technologies. Services will be held on Friday, February 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 300 Gold St. SE, with Pastor Randy Walquist officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 23, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at French - University location.
