Obituary for GREENAWALT

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday February 19, 2012

TAYLOR MORRISON A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born June 7, 1966 to Ted E. and Georgia Rose Greenawalt. He passed on February 10, 2012, in a state of peace and loving kindness for all relatives and friends-old and new. Taylor was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was most at peace when he was in or on the water or in the mountains. He loved his dog Kobe (his Great Dane) and his new English Mastiff puppy, Walter. Taylor was a lover. He was a son, an uncle and loved his many friends. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in architecture in 2006. Taylor was instrumental in forming a Musicians Against Violence celebration of his brother's friends and their music in the form of many bands performing in several venues in downtown Albuquerque. The unity of all life and connectedness of things seen and not seen were at the basis of the way that Taylor saw the creative life force working in all of our lives. He saw this force in particular in everything in the natural world. Taylor is survived by his mother, Georgia Rose; his father, Ted Greenawalt; and his niece, Cassandra Greenawalt. At Taylor's request there will be no formal service, but friends and family will be notified of a future gathering to celebrate his life.
