Obituary for STEPUTIS

MARVIN Age 83, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 30, 2012. He was born in Denver, CO. Marvin is survived by his two daughters, Camela Steputis of Cary, NC and Julie Nunley of Peoria, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Steputis; and his brother, Duane Steputis. Marvin graduated from Fort Collins High School and Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. As a quarterback, he played football in high school, college, and won a Rice Bowl ring while serving in the Army. He served active duty overseas in the Japan Occupation and Korean Conflict. He relocated to Albuquerque to teach in the psychology department at UNM where he earned his Master's degree and then went on to teach in the Albuquerque Public School system.
