LOUISE CHRISTINA FINNEGAN Age 83, born February 3, 1928, joined our Heavenly Father on January 25, 2012. Devoted wife to Thomas James Lett Sr.; sister to Sharon O'Mara (Jim); mother to seven, Thomas V.J. Lett (Debra), Karen Gooding, Sheila Lett, Daniel Lett (Pamela), William Lett, DeEtta Lett, and Timothy Lett (Linda); grandmother to nineteen, Johnathan Gooding (Lisa), Josephine Ehlers (Scott), Madeline Lett, Benjamin Gooding (Jennifer), Dana Sumrow, Michael Gooding, Catherine Lett, Shawn Lett, Thomas James Lett (Nikki), Michael Lett, Patrick Lett, Victoria Lett, Victoria C. Lett, Nicole Lett, Hannah Lett, Brandon Lett, Sarah Lett, Emily Fernandez, Jacqualyn Lett; and great-grandmother to four, Connor Ehlers, Jett Salisbury, Alexandra Ehlers, and Athena Lett. She is also survived by in-laws, Dorothy and Armand Liguori, Arnold and Terry Lett; as well beloved nieces Penny Raia and Lisa Stuhler; numerous cousins and far reaching extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Finnegan; mother, Mary Calnan; step-mother, DeEtta Finnegan; and sister, Mary Andreau. Louise was born and raised in and around Boston, Massachusetts and maintained a bustling household in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maryland, and New Mexico since 1972. Although raised in the eastern U.S. for most of her life, she enjoyed living in New Mexico, viewing the far ranging vistas and the mountains, especially the Sandias. Being a good wife and mother was of the utmost importance throughout her life. Louise enjoyed tending to her rose bushes, and admiring the majestic sunsets seen from her porch swing. In remembrance of her life and the joy she brought us, the family invites you to join us for a viewing at French Mortuary, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW Albuquerque, New Mexico, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a reciting of the Rosary to follow on Friday, January 27, 2012. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE Rio Rancho, New Mexico, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 with internment to follow and a celebration of her life at the family's home.
