CLEOFAS J. Age 91, beloved brother-in-law and uncle, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 26, 2012, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Casa Salazar, NM and was currently a resident of Algodones, NM. Cleofas enjoyed ranching, and had a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Barbarita Gonzales; his wife, Severa Gonzales; his children, Lucy Garcia and Robert Gonzales. Cleofas is survived by two sister-in-laws, Domitila Archuleta and Rosa Jaramillo; special nieces, Fidelia Vigil, Juanita G. Pino; other several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Mission, in Algodones, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m.; followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Algodones Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leon Vigil, Leroy Vigil, Ray Gonzales, Mario Ramirez, Amalio Aranda and Daniel Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramon Gonzales and Nick Ramirez.
