ROBERTA MCCURDY A resident of Albuquerque, NM, for 57 years, passed away January 2, 2012. She was preceded in death by husband, L.G. "Roy" Rainhart and sister Edith McCurdy Hoffman. She is survived by son, George Rainhart and wife Dolly of Lone Tree, Colorado; granddaughter Ann Rainhart and husband Jason Digman; great-grandsons Evan and Kyle of Plymouth, Minnesota; and grandson Robert Rainhart and wife Elizabeth; great-granddaughters Rebecca, Meredith, and Clara of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by daughter Jean Edith Rainhart Dignan Prokopiak of Albuquerque; her birthson Shawn Poe and wife Christy and their daughters Erica, Eilish, and Erin of Royse City Texas. Roberta was born December 17,1920 in Mt Kisco New York, attended Gaines Business College, worked for Guarantee Trust Bank in New York City until marriage in 1943 to Leroy G. Rainhart, who at the time was in the military. In 1954 the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Roberta was employed by Sandia National Laboratories for seventeen (17) years and retired in 1983. Roberta was for many years a member of the Presbyterian Hospital Auxiliary and is a member of the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Cremation has taken place. Cremains were buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church STAMP fund which provides funding for mission projects.
