JOSE Age 91, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on August 8, 1920, to Jesus and Briaida Ulibarri. Jose Ulibarri was a proud member of the 556th Air Service Group as a Military Police Officer, he was honorably discharged on September 18, 1945. Jose worked for the New Mexico Railroad as a foreman and was also a general contractor specializing in concrete work. He was well known throughout the Christian community as he helped build many churches. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Altagracia Ulibarri; daughter, Erlinda Carrasco; son, David Ulibarri; grandchildren, Avelino Carrasco, Marcos Carrasco, Luciana Carrasco and Zenaida Martinez; great-grandchildren, Felicia Ulibarri, Melissa Durgin, Malcolm Carrasco, Isabel Carrasco, Jacob Martinez, Clemente Martinez, Elijah Martinez, Cristobal Martinez, Santana Carrasco, Vicente Carrasco, Isabella Carrasco, Nazareth Carrasco and Israel Carrasco; great great-grandchildren, Janelle Ulibarri and Nehemiah Carrasco. Jose will continue to be loved and greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services Coal Ave. Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Casa Del Rey Church, 2500 Corona Dr. NW. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be David Ulibarri, Juan Carrasco, Gene Torrez, Manuel "Pancho" Romero, John Bradford and Malcolm Carrasco.
