RUTH FLOCK "TRUTTI" Passed away October 26, 2011, following a short illness. She was born May 25, 1946 in Denver, CO and lived in Los Alamos, NM, Santa Fe, NM and San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband N.G. "Rip" Collins; her parents Miller and Domi Flock; and her brother Robert Flock. She is survived by her daughter Tracy Bertram Strader; grandson James Strader; and brother Carl Flock. She has many other family members and friends who she loved dearly. While in Santa Fe, Trutti worked at the Bank of Santa Fe, Capital Bank and Healy Matthews. In San Diego she was employed at the DLA Piper Law Firm. Trutti was a member of the San Diego Turtle & Tortoise Society and the Zoological Society of San Diego. Her travels took her to Ecuador, the Galapagos and Costa Rica with her mission being to preserve endangered turtles. Trutti was fond of Hawaii, she was passionate about growing orchids and plumerias.
