WILLIAM (BILL) H. MSGT. (RET) Bill passed away at the age OF 49 in his home in Leesville, LA on November 25, 2011. He graduated from Sandia Prep "81, received his BA '97 and MA '99 in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in ABQ. He retired as First Sargent at Ft. Polk, AIN in LA in '05 after serving 25 years in the US Air Force which included tours in the DMZ, Oman, Yemen and Afghanistan. Bill was also a volunteer fire fighter in his home town in LA. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 14 years Miae and survived by his mother Janet; his older sister Susan with her life partner Becci; his younger sister Neoma; and his nephews Benjamin and Aaron. A memorial took place in LA and as per his request, he will have a private burial with full honors in Santa Fe. If you would like to honor Bill's memory please donate blood, serve the homeless or make a financial contribution to the Animal Humane Society. "Shirts" you could also throw down your "coins" so every serviceman can celebrate this brave soldier.
