Obituary for PERRIN

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday November 06, 2011

ROBERT JAMES Age 64, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 30, 2011. His wife, Ellen Perrin of Albuquerque, NM, and his great nephew Keith Walter Cummings of California survive him. His father Joseph Perrin; mother Joyce Perrin; and sister Donna Cummings preceded Bob in death. Bob worked in juvenile probation for the state of New Mexico, and formerly juvenile and adult probation with San Mateo County, California. He devoted his life to the departments for which he served and helped thousands of children over the course of his career; without ever seeking recognition for his endless acts of kindness. Bob's incredible passion was obvious by the lives he touched, people, and animals alike. He was a mentor, a couch, a counsel, and a friend. Bob's sense of humor was untouchable and unparalled. He had a huge heart and retained the values of a bygone era. Bob will be greatly missed. At Bob's request, no public memorial services will be held. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to: Crossroads Fellowship Church , attn: Homeless Ministry, 1215 Hazeldine SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
