CHARLES ROBERT Age 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away October 30, 2011. He was born April 28, 1931 in Natchez, Mississippi. He served his country in the armed forces and was honorably discharged. He worked with Western Electric for thirty years and retired from the company in 1982. He was an active member in the Palo Duro Philatelic Society and the Palo Duro senior center. He also loved to ballroom and country western dance. Charles leaves behind his wife of fifty-one years, Irene Minke; and their children, Jamie Bevan and husband, Rory, Phillip Minke, Mary Cagle and husband, Clarke, and Danielle Cartwright. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jessica, Michelle, and Jordan. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Animal Humane New Mexico, 615 Virginia St. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Dad, we love you and will miss you.
