MAXINE VIRGINIA Age 86, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. She is survived by sons, James Warren Hubbs of Albuquerque, NM, Richard Jackson and Dell Hubbs of Meridian, ID, and Charles Robert and Janie Gillespie of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Dojoni Gillespie, Darren Hubbs, Bobbi Gillespie, Billie Jo Smeltzer, and Janelle Hubbs; and great-grandchildren, Courtney and Caitlyn Zang, Jose, Janae, Diego, and Santiago Valdez. Mrs. Gillespie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nannie Lee (Bowman) Frye; her husband of 58 years, Charles R. Gillespie, Jr.; two brothers and five sisters. She found enjoyment in Western movies, books, music and bird watching, but her greatest love was her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at French - Wyoming Chapel with Reverend Howard Hinman officiating.
