TOBY L. January 16, 1942 - October 22, 2011 Toby went with our Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Toby is survived by his wife, Barbara of 48 years; his daughters, Ramona and husband, Mark J. Carrillo, Yvonne and husband, Dennis Trujillo; his grandchildren, Rudy Vigil and Crystal, Gene and Sophia Trujillo; brothers, ED Tanuz, Arthur Tanuz and wife, Sally; sister, Toodie Holstrum; many nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. Toby was preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Maclovia Tanuz; brothers, Leno Tanuz-Bustos and Bill Coca. Toby was a member of the Sons of The American Legion Post 13, and the The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge.Toby lived life to the fullest. He dearly loved his Family and Friends, his Cabins and Elk Camp in the Pecos Wilderness, and his Animals. Toby touched the lives of so many people, he is so loved and cherished, and will never be forgotten. Honorary pallbearers will be Rory Tanuz, Richard Rico Tanuz, Manuel Holstrum, Louie Carrillo, Al Sena, and Jose Scotty Scott. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in Toby Tanuz's name to the Department of UNM Surgical Oncology, in support of the work of Dr. Katherine Morris, UNM Foundation, 2 Woodward Center, 700 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Rosary will be recited by James Tanuz on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, 7:00 p.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 Fourth Street NW.
