JAMES ROBERT (BOB) Age 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, born in Encino, NM, died October 21, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife "Cha" Pauline Elizabeth Seay of Albuquerque, NM; children, three sons, Rob, Don and wife, Terri, and Mike and his wife, Cindy, all from Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Sheena, Jordan, Lauren, and Alysa and her husband, Ryan. Bob was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Sean and Ella. He is also survived by his older sister, Jeanne; brother, Howard also of NM; many nieces and nephews. Bob joined the Air Force because of the love for his country and while serving his country in his spare time learned to fly planes which was another great love and passion that he shared with his wife. Bob left the military in 1952 and worked for Sandia Sand and Gravel Company, he and his wife saved their money and opened an Earthmoving Company in Albuquerque that is still in business today (Aztec Grading Inc.). Bob continued his love for planes by flying his virtual flight simulator that his son, Don set up for him. Bob loved his family and country with all his heart and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in honor of his great-granddaughter (Hannah Seay) with whom he had a special bond to, Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network, P. O. Box 6759, Albuquerque, NM 87197. Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at French - University Chapel. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
