ARTHUR In loving memory. Arthur was born on March 24, 1976. He lost his battle to cancer on Monday, October 17, 2011. Arthur was a lifetime resident of Albuquerque and attended Albuquerque Public Schools. He was a member of Believers Center of Albuquerque. Arthur was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Lucero-Henry; father, Arthur Bustamante of Phoenix, AZ; grandfather, Raymond Lucero; great-grandmother, Felicita Baca; maternal aunt, Deborah Martinez; and uncle, David A. Lucero. He is survived by his Nana, Felicita Lucero; four sisters; two brothers; 11 nieces and nephews; Uncle, George R. Lucero of Phoenix, Az; aunts, Emilia Benavidez and husband James, and Maxine Vega and husband Pete; and many other family and friends who love and will miss him. The family would like to thank Craig, at Ayudando Case Management, for serving as Arthur's guardian and friend, and Greg and Ola Kearns, who graciously took Arthur into their home and hearts and led him to Jesus. Special thanks to Arthur's closest and dearest friend, Mike Joines, who has truly proven himself to be a friend "that sticks closer than a brother." Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011at 10:00 a.m., at Believers Center of Albuquerque, 320 Waterfall Drive SE (Tramway and I-40). Pastor Ross will officiate. Internment will take place at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery where Arthur will be laid to rest with his beloved mother, Dorothy. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
