Obituary for CRANDALL

ARLENE KEENE Age 92, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, October 21, 2011. Arlene was born on February 23, 1919 in Knowlton, Wisconsin, but had been a resident of Albuquerque for over sixty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Crandall of Albuquerque; and her sons, Gary Crandall of Albuquerque and Robert "Bob" Crandall of Dallas, TX. She is survived by her grandchildren, Scott and wife Nancy Crandall of Plano, TX; Mike and wife Shirlee Crandall of San Antonio, TX; Melanie and husband David Peterson of Albuquerque; Maurice and wife Connie Crandall of Albuquerque; Martin Crandall of Portland, OR; and Michelle Crandall of Clarkdale, AZ. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Abby, Ben, and Chris Peterson of Albuquerque; Avery, Ira, and Perry Crandall of Albuquerque; and Brett Crandall of Plano, TX. She is further survived by her daughters-in-law, Joanne Crandall of Dallas, TX; and Jane Winiecki of Clarkdale, AZ. Arlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved to visit with loved ones, and easily won over hearts with her sense of humor and famous spaghetti and meatballs. She was blessed to remained sharp and active for all of her 92 years. Arlene was a friend to everyone and will truly be missed. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Shrine of Saint Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
