CHARLES DANIEL Passed away Thursday October 13, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. He was 62. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Charlie lived throughout the country as he served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era, and later worked as a salesman in regional territories throughout the West and Louisiana. Charlie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Grace Oles. He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Eugene Oles, Grace Kegresse, and Mary Jane Bisbee, all of Massachusetts; Kathleen Staunton, Joan Wilson, and Susan Oles, all of Oklahoma City, OK; Patricia Allen and Jeannine Masters of New Jersey; Edward Allen, Michael Allen, and Barbara Allen, all of Albuquerque; Frank Allen of Florida; and Geraldine Pacheco of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his step-mother Mary Hayes who resides in Albuquerque, and many nieces and nephews. Charlie was known for his hilarious, sometimes off-color jokes, he was never without one when you spoke to him. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Paradise Hills on Thursday October 20, 2011, at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please send donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, for thoracic cancer research.
