MARIE PATRICIA Age 70, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011. She is survived by her husband, George C. Loehr of Albuquerque, NM; son, David Loehr and wife, Heather of Hanover, IN; grandsons, Thomas Loehr and Patrick Loehr; step-son, Robert Loehr and wife, Julie of Weehauken, NJ; brothers, Gerhard Brown and wife, Prudie, and Richard Brown and wife, Patricia. Pat was preceded in death by her father, Col. Gerhard Brown and mother, Marie Brown. She was a graduate of Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY where she received her Bachelors degree. Pat was also a graduate of Georgetown University, where she received her Masters degree. Pat was an English Teacher at University of Wyoming, a Freelance writer with numerous articles on Roman Catholic theology and was also a columnist for Los Pequenos Pepper, a monthly Catholic newsletter. She enjoyed travel with her husband particularly in the southwest. Pat had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 11, 2011, 7:00 pm, at French-Westside Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, 10:30 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho, with Father Scott Mansfield, Celebrant. Cremation will follow.
