LUCY Age 97, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 2, 2011. She is survived by daughter, Sharon Suazo Lincoln and husband, Elmer J. of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Joan Suazo Yazzie of Albuquerque, NM; son, Larry Suazo of Lawton, OK; daughter, Rita Cachora and husband, Oscar of Albuquerque, NM; son, Michael L. Suazo of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Marge Lynette Lodge Pole and husband, William of Rocky Boy, MT; son, Norman T. Suazo and wife, Aleta "Tweety" of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Dale E. Suazo and wife, Rita of Casa Blanca, NM; daughter, Avery Suazo of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Brenda Zamarron and husband, Heriberto of Albuquerque, NM; and 84 direct descendents. Mrs. Suazo was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Jerry C. Suazo and daughter, Doris Kestner. She was a member of All Nations Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday School. Lucy was a mentor and nurtured not only her children, but also her extended family and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel, with Rev. William Fragua officiating. Interment will follow at Acomita Cemetery in Acomita, NM. Pallbearers will be Corey Lodge Pole, James Vargas, Carlos Lucero, Danny Calderon, Travis Suazo, Aldo J. Vargas, Justin Suazo, and Omar Tovar.
