EDWARD J. Age 88, longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 29, 2011. He is survived by his daughters, Terri Kroemer and husband, Rich of Waukee, IA and Kashia Godlewski and husband, Tom McGinnis of Denver, CO; son, Tommy Godlewski and wife, Angela of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Kelli Harrison and husband, Adam of Edgewood; great-grandsons, Keith, Vince, and Corey Harrison; nieces, Kathy, Cynthia, Karen, Sharon and their families of Syracuse, NY; and loving companion, Dina Bisio of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katarzyna (Lesinski) Godlewski; sister, Stella; and brothers, Joe and Myron. Edward served his country for over 24 years in the United States Air Force and took part during the Korean Conflict and World War II. His hobbies included ceramics and candle making. He was also an avid Lady Lobos Basketball fan. He was a longtime parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 6 , 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the church. Ennichement will take place on Friday, October 7, 2011 with full military honors at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Church, 833 Arizona SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
