Obituary for HUDSON-GREEN

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday October 02, 2011

JEANNINE FRANCOISE Age 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Friday, September 23, 2011 after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. She was the proud mother of four children, Marc Hudson, Cyril Hudson, Cassandra Hudson Shaw, all of New Mexico, and Elianne Hudson of Oregon. She was preceded in death by Craig Hudson, the father of her children, and by her second husband, Tom Green. As a young survivor of the German Occupation of France during WWII, she met an American GI, married, and became an American citizen. Although over her lifetime she held several jobs, her passion was her family. She was a lover of ballet and of the fine arts; a long-time member of the Alliance Francaise d'Albuquerque; a moving force behind the restoration of the New Mexico Boxcar of the French Gratitude Train, and a brave, gracious and vibrant friend to people locally and internationally. Memorial to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, attn: Bob Dunagan, President, 10817 Griffith Park Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123, or www.apdaparkinson.org.
