MARGARET LOUIS IVY Age 89, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, December 29, 1921 to Joseph W. Ivy Sr., and Mary Johnson Ivy. She graduated in 1945 from Wellesley College in Massachusetts with an MA. She left with her husband in 1950, for Albuquerque, New Mexico, where her husband owned an oil and gas business. She was very active in charitable activities with the Junior League and University of New Mexico. In 1963, she moved to Houston, Texas. Survivors include her sons, John David, James I. and Robert A. Wiedemer; three grandchildren, Seline, John, and Benson. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Memorial Drive Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77079, phone 713-468-8356. Flowers are welcomed or a contribution can be made to the Caring Forever Foundation, both care of the Memorial Drive Methodist Church.
