CAMERON Age 25, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Arleen and Mike Smith of San Antonio, TX, Larry and Barbara Edmonson of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters, Crystal and Chantelle Edmonson, Chy-Anne Smith and; niece, Alycia Hernandez all of San Antonio, TX and sister Jacque Rodriguez of Los Lunas, NM; nephews, Ethan and Jacob Edmonson of Harrison, AR; step-sister, Kimberly Murphy of Albuquerque, NM; grandmother, Dorothy "Granny" Edmonson of Milan, NM; his loving companion and best friend, Ashlie Scott of Albuquerque, NM; his dog, Dez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Edmonson; maternal grandparents, Simplicio "Tata" and Lucy "Nana" Martinez; and paternal grandfather, J.R. "Poppy" Edmonson. Cameron was a loving peacemaker. He was the life of the party. Cameron always gave more than he received. He was the Apple of his Poppy's eyes. Cameron was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Friends and family may visit on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at French ~ Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd, NW. Additional viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE. This will be followed by funeral services at 12 Noon. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Pallbearers are Gene Martinez, Chris Torres, Asa Scott, Joel Peterson, Jonathon Kesterson and Garrett Andrews.
