ALLAN S. Passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy; daughter, Carmen Abbott of Jacksonville FL; son, Manley Abbott of Livermore, ME; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Abbott of Apex, NC. Allan retired from the Army after 21 years of service and also collected coins and antique Packards. He had a great sense of humor and was a good natured man who loved to cook. Allan also enjoyed gardening and fixing things. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at French ~ Lomas Chapel. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Donations can be made in Allan's name to the Albuquerque Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd NE, Ste. 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
