JOHN 73, a resident of Albuquerqe, passed away on July 21, 2011. Mr. Garcia is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Loretta; his children, John Garcia, Lawrence Garcia, Rosemarie Garcia, and Cipriano Garcia and girlfriend, Ebassneska; his sisters, Lucy San Martin and husband, Mario, Amelia Griego, Irene Morris and husband, Pete, Connie Brill and husbad, Arthur, Pat Haslett and husband, Robert, and Erlinda Taylor and husband, Tim; his sisters in law, Rebecca Garcia and Mercy Garcia; his grandchildren, Eric Garcia and wife, Jennifer, Jessica Chavez, and Richard Chavez; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, and nephews. Mr. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church and was Sherriff Duputy under Lester Hayes. Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Nestor Garcia. Final visitation will be Tuesday at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbeares will be Ed Garcia, Leroy Torres, Jim Agpalsa, Larry Gurule, Joey Griego, and Ray Gurule. Honorary pallbearers will be'Mario San Martin, Julio Garcia, and Curtis Brill.
