JUAN May 7, 1933 to July 11, 2011, age 78, went to be with the Lord after a long battle with oral cancer. Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his parents, Jose M. Baca Sr. and Paulita J. Baca; and his brother Jose M. Baca Jr. Mr. Baca is survived by his sisters Rita, Soila and Elena (Mark); his brothers Richard, Robert (Anna) and Ray (Grace); his children Eloy, Linda, Donna, Theresa, Juan Jr. and Lucille; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The mother of his children Felicita Arevalos and his good friends Moises Chavez and Ray Candelaria. Mr. Baca was a gardener planting mostly blue corn and chili. He loved animals especially his chickens. His favorite place to go was "El Pino" where he said he felt at peace. He also liked going to the "66" casino. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and many cousins who thought the world of him. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at his request.
