Obituary for HERRERA

JUSTO A. Age 60, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. Justo was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, grandpa and uncle and was dearly loved by everyone. He loved the time he spent playing with his grandchildren. Justo was born in California and loved the beach and the ocean. Even though he was an Albuquerque native, he longed to be at the beach. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and family gatherings. Justo was preceded in death by his father, Justo Herrera; nephew, Matthew Herrera; and brother-in-law, Marcos Sanchez. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dolores Herrera; daughter, Alisha Herrera (Eric); mother, Virginia Herrera; step-children, Amos and Lashawnda Wilson, Tamara and Michael Archuleta, Allison and Roy File and Rocky and Lisa Wilson; five brothers, Gilbert Herrera and wife, Olivia, Ray Herrera and wife, Peggy, Michael Herrera and wife, Shawna, Edward Herrera and Edward Herrera and wife, Carol and one sister, Dorothy Sanchez. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven nephews; and four nieces. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at 6:30 PM at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., followed by a Rosary at 7:30 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:00AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Road. Interment will follow at the Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Gonzales, Andrew G. Gonzales, Tyler Pimental, Issac P. Rael, Noah M. Herrera, Jeffery Herrera and Marcos Sanchez.
