MANUEL At the age of 82, went to be with our Lord on July 10, 2011. Mr. Archuleta was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Guthmann; and brother, Francisco Archuleta. He is survived by his spouse, Anita Archuleta of 48 years; son, Richard Archuleta; daughters, Roseanne Archuleta and Valerie Maly; brother, Richard "Dick" Archuleta; sister, Mary Montano and husband, Joe; grandchildren: Richard E. Archuleta, Heather Lujan and Christy Lujan-Vigil and husband, Tom. Mr. Archuleta was a veteran and worked for the Union County Leader for 17 years. He was a commander at VFW for 13 years. Manuel retired as the Clayton, NM County Assessor. Manuel's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation and Viewing on Wednesday from 3-5:00 p.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE) followed with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Life Celebration Mass will be on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven.
