RACHEL ALICE Born in Clayton, NM on July 30, 1955 to Kenneth and Minnie Alberson, suffered a heart attack on Saturday, July 9, 2011 and left her earthly home in Moriarty, NM to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her natural father, Kenneth George Alberson. She is survived by her loving life partner, Marge Probst; son, Kenneth George Probst-Alberson; mother and father, Minnie and Lewis Topliff of Las Cruces, NM; brother, Mike Topliff and wife, Cyndy of Socorro, NM; brother, Pat Topliff and wife, Barb of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Berna Woods and husband, Don of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Marty Alberson and wife, Janet of Billings, MT; sister, Connie Topliff and partner, Susanna Laundy of Tucson, AZ; brother, Dean Alberson and wife, Mary of Bryan, TX,; brother, Dennis Alberson and wife, Cathey of Las Cruces, NM; and numerous other relatives and friends. Rachel served the populations of Las Cruces, Tucson, San Francisco and Albuquerque as a highly skilled and dedicated nurse for 36 years. She received her BSN from New Mexico State University and Masters of Nursing from UNM. She and Marge have opened their hearts and home to numerous foster children. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Unity Spiritual Center, 9800 Candelaria NE in Albuquerque, NM. At a later date, her cremated remains will be placed in the grave of her father in Las Cruces, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a scholarship fund for their 6 year old son, Kenneth George Probst-Alberson at any Wells Fargo Bank.
