KENNETH V. Age 38, born in Denver, Colorado, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. He is survived by his wife Michelle; daughter Anicsa; and sons, Isaac, Joseph, Vences and Tristan; grandmother Mary Alice Montoya; uncle Ricky J. Caraveo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kenneth was preceeded in death by his parents, Ken and Patricia Caraveo; grandfather Albert Montoya; and grandparents, Joe and Josie Caraveo. He was a graduate of Valley High School and CNM and was pursuing a bachelor's degree at the University of New Mexico. He loved the sport of wrestling and enjoyed coaching his boys. He was passionate about education and was a member of TRIO and TAG achievement group. He enjoyed horse racing and fishing and worked on a commercial fishing boat for many seasons throughout the years. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Salazar and Sons Mortuary with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
