LLOYD SPENCER April 17 1924 to June 19 2007, born Chicago, IL, Navy officer in WW II; PHD in Chemistry, University of Chicago. Worked in high-temperature metals research at Bell Labs NJ and at Sandia Labs NM, University of Wisconsin as retired consultant. Interests included family, music, gardening, Boy Scouts, photography. Survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Lorna Manney Nelson; daughter Georgia McKinney (born Ardis); four sons David (wife Linda), Evan (wife Debora Veseth), Jeff (wife Sharon), Milton & (wife Carolyn); grandsons Adrian and Kelsey Veseth-Nelson
