CATHERINE passed away peacefully on June 13, 2011. Catherine was born December 30, 1927. She was a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert of 53 years. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Domenici of New York and her husband Larry Saunders, Karen Domenici of Alexandria, VA, her husband Rolf Ness; as well as granddaughters Kristina and Isabella Ness. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Jeanette and Jerry Monahan and sisters-in law Theresa Menicucci, her husband Mario, Lilly Tomasi, her husband John, Frances Domenici; and her brothers-in-law George and Charlie Domenici. She had numerous nieces and nephews whom were all considered her "favorite". Catherine was a member of P.E.O. She enjoyed volunteer work and served at St. Joseph's Hospital, The Brothers of the Good Shepherd, and was also a member of her Neighborhood Association. She loved music and was on the board of the Albuquerque chapter of the Santa Fe Opera for several years. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was baptized, confirmed and married there. Her focus in life was her family, friends, and her community. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, June 20, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Entombment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
