JIMMY ALAN Age 62, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Born to Jimmy and Edna Brooks in 1949, he then became known as Alan by friends and family. Some of his accomplishments include: Eagle Scout, High School marching band, University of Delaware Alum, The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) Alum, member and leader of Collage Outing Clubs Society, member of Song and Dance Society, member of National Speleological Society, and a member of International Wood Collectors Society (IWCS). Alan was a Publications Editor for the majority of his working years with the last 10 years as Editor of World of Wood for the IWCS. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; and younger brother, Michael. Alan is survived by his wife, dance partner, and companion of 25 years, Jodie; many uncles, aunts, cousins; and two nieces, Jeanette and Melissa.
