RICHARD L. Age 64, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 29, 2011. Mr. Rivas is survived by his beloved wife of forty-three years, Mary; his children, Monica L. Salazar and husband, Mike, Vincent F. Rivas and wife, Rene, Gina M. Prieto and husband, Ronnie; his sisters, Mary Alice Baca and husband, Ben, Rosalie Rivas, Virgie Sandoval and husband, Ray, Bea Rivas Davalos and husband, Benito; his brothers, Arthur Rivas, Carols Rivas and wife, Diane, Ray Rivas and wife, Antoinette; his grandchildren, Jovonne, Raquel, JohnRichard (JR), Ronnie Jr., Diego, Eden, Elena, Vincent, Reina, and one on the way; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Rivas was a member of the following organizations, Community Bike Recycling Program, Vecinos del Bosque Neighborhood Association, West Side Central Community Development, Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Group, G.A.I.A. Greater Albuquerque Innkeepers Association, South Valley Senior Advisory Council, Partnership for Community Action, and Southwest Alliance and Neighbors. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Casa del Rey Church, 2500 Corona Dr. NW, Pastor Paul Reyes, presider. Final visitation will be Friday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Paul Reyes, presider. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phil Rivas, Dominic Rivas, Ricky Blea, Marty Zamora, Ronnie Prieto, and Mike Salazar. Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Rivas, Fred Olivares, J.B.
