Eleanor Louise, Age 90, died May 16, 2011 She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, she is survived by her son, Matthew Lee Philpott, his wife, Patricia Ann Philpott; and grandson, Marshall Tucker Philpott of Corrales; sister- in- law, Sally Sorri of Albuquerque; and nephews, Tom Sorri of Los Gatos, CA, and Forrest Philpott of Kansas City, MO. Eleanor was the wife of the late, Maurice Lee Philpott, she was the daughter of Arthur Ogan Crosiar and Mildred Fowli Crosiar. Eleanor was born in Hollowayville, IL on September 03, 1920. She was employed by the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Albuquerque for 27 years retiring in January 1980. Eleanor was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother. She was interested in family history. Eleanor was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. No services are planned at this time. Burial will be at the Santa Fe, NM National Cemetery with her husband Maurice who was a World War II Navy Veteran. She was a wonderful and kind person who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
