John Paul McKee, Sgt First Class US Army Ret, was born January 14, 1944 in Lennox, California . He passed away suddenly, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the age of 67. John retired from the US Army as a Sgt First Class, served in Korea and Germany, and was a Drill Sgt. for many years. As well, John worked for many years as a Security Officer. He will be remembered for being an accomplished bowler and card player. Survivors are his loving wife, Sheryl Kruger; his twin brother and his wife, Jimmy and Donna McKee; sister, Pat; sons, John Paul and Robert; daughters, Katie, Debbie, Rosie and Melissa; grandchildren, Jaycob and Kelsie; as well as other family members and many friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church (IPC), 114 Carlisle Boulevard SE, near Central and Carlisle, on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10:00am with US Army Honors.
