C. Raymond Alls, 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2011. Ray was born in Lynn, Arkansas on October 22, 1928, and was the nephew of Maggie and Reece Erwin of Van Buren, AR, where he graduated from high school in 1946. After graduating in 1954 with a Masters Degree from the University of Arkansas, Raymond came to Albuquerque to work as an electrical engineer for Sandia National Laboratories. He retired in 1991 and worked in his garden, traveled with Manzanita Sam's RV club, camped with his family and coworkers at IEEE campouts and spent time with his family. He attended Del Norte Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Raymond attended Temple Baptist Church with his family from 1955 -1994 and enjoyed working on the church buses. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Clara Alls of Lynn, AR and his son, Chris Alls of Albuquerque. Raymond is survived by his wife of 61 years, Geraldine; daughter, Joan Pridham and her husband, Sherman; grandsons, Matthew Pridham and his wife, Rachael, Joshua Alls, and Michael Pridham and his love, Chanjun (June) Xu, all of Albuquerque, and Markus Pridham and his wife, Meghan; and three great-granddaughters, Ashley Hyer, Willow Pridham and Zoelyn Pridham of Rio Rancho. Friends and family may visit French - Wyoming Chapel Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Services will be held Monday, May 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery NE. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Raymond's memory to the Del Norte Baptist Church Building Fund, 5800 Montgomery NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
