Elbert "Dave" Miller, 97, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2011. He is survived by his daughter, Anne Bowdich and husband Joe; son, Tom Miller; grandchildren, Dana and Gerry Nystrom, Chris and Jackie Bowdich, David and Jennifer Bowdich, Tom Jr. and Trista Miller, Juli and Jim Morwood; great grandchildren, Ashley and Jamie Calderwood, Michael and Kim Bowdich, Elizabeth Bowdich, Emily Nystrom, Deborah Nystrom, David Nystrom, P J McSweeney, Chase McSweeney, Kadin Copas, Cameron Copas, Cheyne Miller, Curran Miller, Kaelyn Miller, Cameron Miller, Kristiane Miller, Kyla Morwood and Ryan Morwood;, a great great granddaughter, Cailin Bowdich, and many other family and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Florence and all his siblings. Mr. Miller was a long time member of the United Methodist Church. He loved to sing and sang solo's and in quartets. He owned and operated Elbert Miller Inc. Insulation and Window Company, a Western Auto Store in California, the Thunderbird Motel also in California and he was a licensed Real Estate broker. Services will be Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at French - Lomas location. Friends may visit Friday, May 6, 2011 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow services.
