Marian H. Arnold, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho and the Albuquerque area for over 50 years passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Anne Blue of Corrales, NM, Susan Arnold of Topeka, KS, Nancy Arnold of Peaks Island, ME and Patricia Arnold of Albuquerque. Her husband, Wayne Arnold, a nuclear physicist, preceded her in death in 1955. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jim. Mrs. Arnold took great joy in speaking with her four grandchildren, Charles, Meredith, Eleanor and Jack; in playing bridge; and attending New Mexico Symphony Orchestra concerts. She was a long-time member of the American Association of University Women and a staunch Democrat. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at French-Westside location's Reception Center.
