Lois M. A. Lembke Benedict, July 29, 1929-April 24, 2011, a resident of Villa Gardens in Pasadena, CA, transitioned from this life on Easter Sunday. Born in Albuquerque, she was the daughter of Charles H. Lembke and Ruth T. (Bunnie) Lembke. She earned BA and MS degrees from UNM where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She lived in Denver for many years before moving to Pasadena in 1997 to be near her son and grandson. She is survived by her son, Dr. Jeffrey Benedict, his wife Denise Lassiter, and his son Julian Benedict. Her sister, Ellen Ann Ryan, nieces Ann Prinz, Leigh Ryan, Sheila Hunter, and nephew Tom Ryan, Jr. also survive. Services will be held in honor of her life on Saturday, May 7, 2011, 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Pasadena, 500 E. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena. CA 91101
