Christopher Hall Sever passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Randy and Eileen Sever; brother, Shawn; sister, Megan Sever Suarez; daughter, Michaela Sever and her mother, Amy Quintana; best friend, Frank Willis; grandparents, James and Maurice Sever, and Wilmoth Chambliss, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Chambliss. Chris was a sweet and loving spirit, a dedicated father, loyal friend, and very kindhearted to everyone he met. He loved aviation, reading, and working on cars. In his youth, he was active with his church, Mesa View United Methodist Church in Albuquerque, NM. He enjoyed music and sang with the "New Gospel Singers." In his later life, he assisted members of his church family with transportation to church functions, handyman chores and visiting those that were not able to travel. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at High Desert United Methodist Church, 4200 Meadowlark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM. Service will be dress casual and informal. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his daughter Michaela's college fund.
