Matias Mora Martinez, 91, was born on February 24, 1920 and passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011. Matias is survived by his wife, Frances Martinez of Albuquerque; son, Matthew Martinez of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Tiffany Martinez and husband Jason, Mercedes Martinez, and Otilia Martinez; great grandsons, Danielle Lee and James, and many friends who love and will miss him. Matias was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He was a retired Fire Fighter, Civil Service Worker, and Albuquerque Public Schools Crossing Guard. He also enjoyed playing baseball in the Seniors League. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Heaven Parish, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE., near Menaul and San Mateo, on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Mt.
