Christopher Michael Torres, age 27, beloved son, brother, grandson and uncle passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, and was an active member and past officer of the Knights of Columbus, Brother Mathias Barrett Council. Christopher's greatest joy in life was his family and he particularly enjoyed playing with and entertaining his young nieces. Christopher is survived by his loving parents, Stephen M. and Renetta Torres; two brothers, Matthew Torres and wife Dennica, and Daniel Torres and wife Nicol; grandparents, Fidel and Virginia Torres and Robert and Berlinda Martinez; nieces, Darion, Ciana, Enmarae, Elizabeth and Amara; nephew, Michael; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Christopher was an inspiration to his family, friends and coworkers. He remains forever in our hearts. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, April 17th, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande, located at 5901 St. Joseph's Drive NW. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 18th, at 9:00 a.m., also at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande, followed by a reception at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Hall, located at 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW.
