Paula J. Barr (PJ), 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Homer Barr. Mrs. Barr is survived by her children, Greg Barr, and wife, Darlene, and Sandy McMurray and husband, Lindsey; grandchildren, Matt, Mike, Mark, Katy, Beth, Sean, Rachel, and Meredith; great-grandchildren, Luke, Tyler, Aubrey, Peyton, Brooks, and Hayden; and three special additions to the family, Miranda McMurray, Nina Safier, and Kyle Jameson. Paula started her career with Albuquerque Public Schools and eventually retired from the West Valley School District in Spokane, Washington. Paula spent her life nurturing a loving family, creating beautiful quilts, clothing and craft items, and enjoying life with family and friends. "Our family is a circle of strength and love, every joy shared adds more love, every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger." Mom was the center of our circle.
