L. Catherine passed away at her daughter's home on April 9, 2011. She was born in Mason City, Illinois and was a life long member of Eastern Star. She loved attending Carlisle Plaza United Methodist Church and La Mesa. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Camille Bailey and son, Randall; her two grandchildren Shane Kennedy and Amber Hawkins (husband Dan); her four great-grandchildren, Damon and Raina Hawkins, Greyson Kennedy and Chantell; her two sisters, Mildred Alberts and Carlen Diers. We are comforted in knowing that she is with God, her grandson Randy and her sister Bev. We'd like to thank all our friends and family for being such a comfort during this difficult time. Graveside service is Friday, April 15, 2011 at 4:00 p.m., Sunset Memorial Park.
