Thomas R. Gallegos (Tommy G), age 30, loving son, brother, grandson, father, nephew, cousin, and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Tommy Gunns was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. Tommy was a huge fan of the Lakers. Anyone who knew Tommy knew they could count him in on a game of basketball, anywhere, anytime. When Tommy wasn't playing basketball you'd find him watching it, or cheering on his favorite football team, Go Cowboys! Tommy is survived by his mama Carmen Aranda Romero and husband Joseph; his father Tommy Gallegos; his beautiful daughters, Arianna Serrano, Maryah and Mia Gallegos; brother Aaron Henderson and Dez; grandparents David and Lucy Gallegos; grandmother Bedelia Aranda; aunts Denise Polaco, Jane Ghahate, Sandi Baca and husband Jim, and Patricia Martinez; many cousins, two of which were special to his heart, Christine Morales and Ashley Polaco; and numerous other family and special friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his baby boy, Thomas Orlando David Gallegos; grandpa Pepe Alirez; uncle Jerry Gallegos; and great-grandma Jessie Garcia. Tommy you are loved. You will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels, Monday April 4, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Rosary to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave N.W., Tuesday April 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.; Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Abe Morales, Benji Gallegos (Buddy), Ron Ghahate (Big Ron), Mike Romero, Victor Marquez, Dom V., and Ray Cordova (Ray Ray); Honorary Bearers are, Aaron Henderson, Jerry Gallegos, Louis Aranda, Chris Cortez, and Orlando Torrez.
