Myrlin J. Jones, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1966, passed away from complications of a stroke on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. She loved all her family. She loved to read non-fiction and was a bowling fanatic. Myrlin was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton M. Jones in 1977 and will now rejoin him at Santa Fe National Cemetery. She is survived by her two daughters Linda and her husband George Patterson and Casandra Jones; grandchildren Casey Patterson and his wife Angela, Mindi Copeland, and Elizabeth and her husband Brian Blevins; great-grandchildren Nicholas and Britani Copeland, Ayla, Tyler and Aidan Blevins; her sisters Nita English, Grace McCain and husband J.C. McCain, Lillian Nowak and husband Jimmy Nowak; sister-in-law Carmie Coffield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2011, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at French ~ Lomas. Service will be Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at French Lomas Chapel. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
