Rose Miranda, age 74, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend was called home on March 8, 2011 by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rose was born in Las Vegas, NM on January 28, 1937 to Juan Duran and Isabel Martinez. Rose is survived by four children, Joann De La Cruz and her husband Raul , Charlie Duran and his wife Concepcion, Naomi Baca and her husband Jake, Elaine Aldaba and her husband Javier; two brothers, Tony Cordova, Ernest Martinez and his wife Angie; her dog, Junior whom she loved and spoiled. Rose is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Rose had nothing but love and admiration for her family. Rose was a wonderful lady who loved everybody. She was young at heart and loved to play at Sandia Casino. Rose lived life to the fullest, and was a very generous, loving and devoted Christian who loved her God. There will be a visitation, and service on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:00 am, with burial at Sandia Memory Gardens following services. Services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE Albuquerque, NM. With Pastor Celedon Cruz officiating.
