Eileen Dahlberg Young, a long-time resident of Albuquerque was born in Grand Rapids, MI August 23, 1923 and passed away February 28, 2011 in Bloomington, IL. She moved to Albuquerque and began working at Sandia Corporation, now Sandia Laboratories, in August 1950 where she was a dedicated and trusted employee. She loved Albuquerque, the climate, its history, especially the Native American culture, her friends and animals. Although she moved to IL her heart stayed in Albuquerque where she developed many life-long friendships. She was gentle, caring, tender hearted and a true friend. She will be greatly missed by her friends and cousins. A graveside service is planned for later this month.
